From the first light touching the famous towers to autumn trees, moving clouds and blue ice below — this place never feels completely still.
Every corner changes with the weather, every minute gives a different mood, and somehow Patagonia always feels bigger than the photograph.

A carousel of cold mornings, warm light and one of the most unforgettable landscapes I’ve ever seen.

The sky was truly spectacular, shown here with a touch of magic that will hopefully inspire us to spend more time enjoying this treasure that modern life has almost made us forget.

Madeira Island represents the exposed summit of a Madeira Island represents the exposed summit of a vast volcanic structure. Only the upper quarter of this system sits above sea level, while the rest drops nearly 4.000 meters into the Atlantic. The island’s dramatic cliffs are simply the visible crest of a massive underwater mountain.
Some of Madeira’s volcanic rocks date back over 100 million years, though most of the landscape we see today formed within the last 66 million years. Remarkably, the island’s final phase of volcanic activity is quite recent. Charcoal preserved in lava reveals that the last eruption ended around 6.450 years ago, which in geological terms is almost yesterday. 😊
📸 This is a long‑exposure shot of Madeira’s lava rocks, perfectly interacting with the surrounding cliffs.
I had high expectations for this location, but I w I had high expectations for this location, but I was met with disappointment, the famous dead tree on the way to Pico Ruivo had been knocked down and broken. At first, I was angry, convinced it was the result of irresponsible tourists. In the end, it turned out that wasn’t the case. On top of that, I faced a few technical challenges while taking these photos.
But as the day went on, I realized that things weren’t so bleak after all, quite the opposite. I witnessed incredible conditions, unusual natural phenomena above the clouds, and the last full moon of this year.
I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I ultimately did.

Uz to, pratile su me i tehničke poteškoće tokom fotografisanja.
